??? Hyperspace Capsules (For transporting Dark Troopers from ship to targeted planet)

The Arc Hammer with its dark gray hull plating was a massive triple engine mobile construction facility was the source of the Dark Trooper Project. This vessel also served as General Mohc's flagship. Contained within the launch bay levels of this vessel was a ceiling mounted rail system which transported Phase II Dark Troopers in groups of four arrayed in a cubical formation from the marshaling section to the launch area. From there, the rail system inserted the group of four Dark Troopers each into their own hyperspace pod (feet first). Once the pods were sealed they were released from the ventral launch bays to speed their way towards the targeted planet.

In time the traitor Crix Madine's involvement to derail the Dark Trooper Project was revealed, and he was confronted by General Mohc and Lord Vader onboard the Arc Hammer. There too, it was revealed that General Mohc had hired Boba Fett to ensure that Kyle Katarn did not come near his flagship. After the destruction of Ice Station Beta on Anteevy, General Mohc placed a large death mark on Katarn's head to prevent further damage to the Dark Trooper Project, and ultimately to prevent him from locating the Arc Hammer. Unfortunately, those efforts proved futile as Katarn managed to outfox Boba Fett and the other bounty hunters who were after his death mark.

This cruiser represented the third phase in Dark Trooper manufacturing. After the Phrik alloy was treated and refined at the Robotics Construction Facility on the planet of Anteevy it was transported to the Arc Hammer where final composition and assembly of the Dark Trooper took place. For security grounds, this vessel made periodic hyperspace jumps across the galaxy to always conceal its location. Only the SSD Executor knew the precise location of this titanic vessel. To accomplish the task of locating the Arc Hammer, Katarn snuck into Imperial Refueling Station Ergo and hijacked a smuggler ship (which was refueling at the station) that was destined to rendezvous with the SSD Executor.

From there Katarn rode the SSD Executor to the rendezvous with the Arc Hammer. Once it was discovered that Katarn was aboard the Executor, the cargo transfer operation between the two ships was halted. Unfortunately, Katarn managed to re-activate the transfer process and was able to board the Arc Hammer through its starboard airlock via the cargo shuttle system. With that Katarn proceeded to place sequencer charges on the Arc Hammer's three exchange couplings (located in small alcoves deep within the ship) which led to the ship's main power grid, all the while engaging the ship's defenders including Phase I and Phase II Dark Troopers. Before he was able to make good on his escape, General Mohc donning the Phase III Dark Trooper Armour engaged Katarn in personal combat. But unfortunately, General Mohc killed in action and Katarn was able to escape via Lambda Shuttle stolen from a small hanger bay just before the Arc Hammer detonated.

From the bridge of the SSD Executor, Lord Vader witnessed the destruction of this great vessel and another Imperial setback. With billions of credits lost due to the destruction of the Dark Trooper Project and the Arc Hammer, and the recent loss of the Death Star a furious Emperor Palpatine refused to release funds for the fabrication of a new construction facility. Upon General Mohc's untimely death all research into the Dark Trooper Project unfortunately ceased.
