The Bavos-I Heavy-Duty Military Platform is a massive space platform that unfortunately suffers from one glaring tactical weakness. Due to its lack of cargo space for the storage of consumables and supplies (blaster gas, fresh food, water, medical supplies, etc) onboard the platform, cargo pods which float in close proximity to the station must be employed. Thus, cargo tugs must be dispatched to bring in supplies when they are needed. The concussion missile bank grants this design extra anti-starfighter capabilities. Near the Core Worlds of Esseles and Rhinnal exists a Bavos-I Platform called Station 2LC/Blue. In this capacity, 2LC/Blue, a hold over from the era when the planet of Esseles was the dominant power in the region (some time before the Battle of Yavin), keeps watch over a restricted-use hyperspace lane, as well as serving as a rescue point and anti-smuggling staging area.
