The G-001 Tracker was on
the market at least around the time of the introduction of the Lancer
Frigate into Imperial service. It comes in two variants: light and medium.
The light variant features a single turret, while the medium features
a double turret. Each turret within a battery however does not require
to be manned in order to operate. A gunner from one turret can remote-control
another turret at the cost of overall accuracy. On the planet of Fangol,
which a Rebel Sector Headquarters was located, a series of G-001
Tracker light and medium surface-to-air defence guns defended that
facility.
