Battles
and Events FAQ![]() |
The Battles and Events section is or going to be a very large section. You may notice that certain battles, events or incidents are not listed because they do not fit in the Star Wars Time Line, since they either conflict with previously published material or they are training missions. Another reason why a Battle or Event may not be listed is simply, I don't own the source yet (if ever) or I have not gotten to it yet.
What sources do the Battles and Events come from?
The Battles and Events information
come from Star Wars Role Playing Game, Star Wars Miniature Battles, Star
Wars novels and Star Wars PC games and the PC games' strategy guides.
The Star Wars PC games are:
| X-Wing Collector's CD-ROM | X-Wing Rogue Squadron |
| TIE Fighter Collector's CD-ROM | X-Wing Alliance |
| X-Wing Vs TIE Fighter (Including Balance of Power) | Rebel Assault II |
| Dark Forces |
Why are some battles listed in the incidents section?
The battles that are listed in the Incidents section are there, due to a lack on information on them.
What does it mean when you put #-# after a ship name in the battle stat listings?
For example: Lambda Shuttles Gamma 1-3 means that there were 3 Lambda-class Shuttles named Gamma 1, Gamma 2 and Gamma 3. It indicates the number of ships under that name (Note that those ships were actually named like that).
What does (Held in reserve if vessel type or vessel name were to be destroyed) mean when it is listed in the battle stats?
It means that particular vessel was not physically at the battle and it would hyperspace into the area, when a particular vessel was destroyed. For example: ISD Calvary (Held in reserve if frigate were to be destroyed) and Nebulon-B Frigate Lightning were the Imperial Force Composition. If and when the frigate were to be destroyed, the ISD would hyper into the area to take its place.
What does it mean when there is no braket listings for a fighter, support craft or capital ship?
For starfighters it means that they were not carrying warheads. For support craft it means that they were not carrying cargo and/or warheads. For capital ships it means they were not carrying cargo. For example: ISD Blackstar, 3 Assault Gunboats and ATR Sigma = The ISD has no cargo, the Assault Gunboats have no warheads and the ATR has no cargo or warheads.
What does it mean when you list ships #-# with the brakets, while with other ships in the same class you put seperate brakets for each?
It means that those vessels are carrying the same cargo. Eg. CR90 Corellian Corvettes Saber 1-4 (Troops), means that all four of the corvettes are carrying troops. While with other ships that have unique names and are in the same class and are carrying the same cargo are listed seperately to prevent confusion. Eg. CR90 Corellian Corvettes Pike (Troops), Saber (Troops) and Sword (Troops)
What does it mean when an Imperial Utility Tug, Stormtrooper Transport, ATR or CUV is carrying warheads, yet it is doing nothing in the battle?
It usually means that those craft are reload craft for the participating Imperial fighters carrying warheads.
What Battles or Events will not be listed and what are the reasons?
The following from PC game missions will not be listed.
