The GPT-117 Troop Transport packs enough firepower to ward off enemy vehicles and smash through barriers. It is one of several general-purpose skiffs employed by the Imperial Military. The forward compartment, which contains the driver and gunner is fully enclosed. The open rear bed however, is not fully enclosed but it is covered with a canvas roof. Although the aft section offers little protection, it allows troops to quickly disembark under combat conditions.
