The Model 22T4 Hold-Out Blaster is standard issue to all members of the Imperial Security Bureau and have been known to be issued to COMPNOR Operatives. Although Merr-Sonn Munitions provided the design, Imperial-controlled factories are responsible for its manufacture. Concealed on the bottom of the actuating blaster module is a microdot recording the weapon's serial number. While removing this microdot is possible, doing so however adversely affects the weapon. Compared to many other arms that are manufactured at Imperial-controlled factories, this sidearm underwent rigorous testing and quality control.
