Mission Function Modules

Name/Model# : Hospital Module
Crew : 225 Doctors, 400 Nurses, 1,500 Emergency Medical Technicians and 1,000 Medical Droids
Cost of Module : 750,000 Credits
Bacta Tanks : 2,750
Cargo Capacity : 5,000 Metric Tons
Equipment Carried : 1000s of Medpacs
Repulsorlift Stretchers
Troop Capacity : 19,600 Patients, 2,750 Patients in Bacta Tanks, and 1,000 Patients in Quarantine Ward
Support Craft : 5 Shuttles for transporting casualties

The Hospital Module is designed to handle any number of disasters from combat to radiation leaks. Featuring a centralized medical computer, this module is deployed for planetary disasters, anti-terrorist clean-up functions and space battle recovery.

Name/Model# : Rescue Module
Crew : 140 Doctors and 2,130 Techs
Cost of Module : 500,000 Credits (plus parts)
Cargo Capacity : 40,000 Metric Tons (This module is loaded up with a variety of replacement parts for ships that participated in the battle)
Troop Capacity : Unknown
Support Craft : Unknown

The Rescue Module is employed for space battle clean-up and repair. Presumably hospital ships accompany this module when it is dispatched. Doctors onboard search any vessels that have not already been searched for survivors. For the techs, their primary mission is to repair what ships they can (at this stage only drive systems and life support systems are repaired) so that they can be piloted back to a dockyard for complete repairs. Vessels which cannot be repaired are analyzed, and the techs note what must be done to the ship so that it can be transferred to the nearest Imperial shipyard. From there, military planners at the shipyard will determine if repairs will be conducted or if the vessel will be scuttled.

Name/Model# : Survey Module
Crew : 2,000 Scouts, 1,500 Techs and 5,000 Droids
Cost of Module : 1,000,000 Credits
Cargo Capacity : None
Sensors : Passive: 60 Space Units/3D
Scan: 80 Space Units/4D
Search: 175 Space Units/5D
Focus: 6 Space Units/5D+2
Troop Capacity : 500 Exploration Droids
Over 100 Observation Airspeeders (For rapid surveys)
Support Craft : 5 Skipray Blastboats
6 TIE Bombers
Note: That these craft are used for defence

The Survey Module is capable of completely analysing a planet within a standard 24 hour day, and determine likely mineral and agricultural resources, and colony sites. Its central computer allows for quick analysis of all gathered data. More so, its computer and techs can calculate likely astrogation routes from any trade routes in close proximity. As such, this module is deployed for rapid exploration of planets and entire star systems.

Name/Model# : Observation Module
Crew : 1,550 Intelligence Officers and Comscan Specialists
Cost of Module : 6,300,000 Credits
Cargo Capacity : None
Sensors : Passive: 250 Space Units/3D
Scan: 800 Space Units/4D
Search: 1,500 Space Units/5D
Focus: 18 Space Units/6D
Troop Capacity : 500 Probots and Observation Droids
Support Craft : 12 TIE Fighters
Note: That these fighters are used for defence

The Observation Module is employed for long range observation and espionage for intelligence gathering. Since a Taskforce Cruiser outfitted with this module would be easily detected if it attempted to infiltrate enemy territory, it instead deploys droids around the perimeter of enemy holdings for passive observation. With the subspace linkup, the probots can be deployed up to 30 light years from the cruiser and still maintain instantaneous communications. The probots can conduct the standard light/energy spectrum analysis and eavesdrop on communication frequencies. Meanwhile, some specially equipped and highly expensive probots can scan very localized hyperspace with cross-channeled radiation (as is employed with the planetary security net).

Name/Model# : Inquisition Module
Crew : 100 Inquisitors, 3,660 CompForce/Observation Staff and 10,000 Interrogation Droids
Cost of Module : 425,000 Credits
Cargo Capacity : Unknown
Equipment Carried :

15,000 Pre-Fabricated Disintegration Chambers
2 Garrison Bases
1 Orbital Data Net Eraser Unit
? Probes with Sterilization Spores
5 Cluster Bombs with Magnepulse Bombs
1 complete Orbital Nightcloak System

Troop Capacity : None
Support Craft : Unknown

The Inquisition Module is employed for punitive actions against rebellious worlds and insurgents. It is the most recent addition to the modules that can be used in the Modular Taskforce Cruiser. This module's cavernous cargo holds are needed to contain the extensive equipment carried.
