    The Dreadnaught can also be found in use by the Rebel Alliance. Like its Imperial counterpart the Rebel Dreadnaught maintains the same shields and weapons. Five of the Rebellion's Dreadnaughts were destroyed by the Galactic Empire during the campaigns that took place in the Airam Sector, after the Battle of Hoth. Three of those heavy cruisers were lost when the Rebels employed them as ramming ships against the SSD Vengeance in the Battle of Nocto. Rebel Dreadnaughts also took part in the Battle of Endor.
