The Repair Droid 47-B, also known as "Beans" was in its original configuration a non-combat repair droid. However, some time before the Battle of Yavin, the Rebels acquired and modified the droids to repair damaged vehicles and structures during the heat of battle. Although the droids can be transported dirt side via the Rusty Eagle, they are too large to fit inside a T-C9 (Hover Transport). The droids' grippers are large enough to pickup a T1-B (Hover Tank).
