The Troop Carrier is an agile armoured personnel carrier that was in Imperial service at least when the Tantive IV was intercepted over Tatooine, shortly before the Battle of Yavin. This eight wheeled vehicle features a pair of headlights on either side of the cockpit and a spare tire on the dorsal, aft-left side. Its blasters are geared towards anti-vehicle duties. Although the design allows for quick and efficient delivery of troops in the midst of battle, and is able to hold its own, it unfortunately does succumb rather quickly under moderate attack.
