Note :

TFOP is very peculiar as Pg 70 and Pg 82 feature different stats for same ship. TFOP Pg 70 incorrectly states number of gunners as 4, should be 5. TFOP Pg 82 only gives total crew and no skeleton crew. It must therefore be assumed that there are 3 different variants of the X-Q2.

The Regulator X-Q2 System Patrol Cruiser is a commonly employed patrol ship, especially for long-term patrols. It is known that during pacification operations, X-Q2s have taken part in blockade operations; an example of this would be the planet of Bundim in the Trax Sector. The Sector Rangers operate a few of these ships in the Ringali Shell which is located in the Galactic Core. It must be noted however, those ships have done nothing more than fire a few warning shots in the last five years before the Battle of Yavin.
